A fast-growing international manufacturer of windows, roof hatches, refrigerators, blackouts and insect screens for motorhomes and caravans. Horrex was started over 30 years ago and has a solid market position in Europe, Asia, Oceania and North America. The markets in which we operate (campers, caravans, vans) are dynamic and offer great prospects for the future. Given the current trend of holidaying in your own country, the number of people going camping will only increase. This offers enormous potential to serve a large group of new customers. The increasing popularity of conversions among young people is also creating a fresh new target group. We supply leading OEMs, converters, wholesalers and dealers in 26 countries worldwide.

Our head office is in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands and we have offices in the United States and China. Here we sell our products in collaboration with our agents. There are currently 19 people working in Vlaardingen who are responsible for Marketing & Sales, Purchasing, R&D and Supply Chain. In recent years, Horrex has focused on the constant development of new, high-quality products and product combinations, both for our current target groups but also for other markets. This has already resulted in various startups that fall under our Driving Change vision. For example, we also design compact electric bicycles and Slide Outs.


Our vision for the future is not only to further develop our current portfolio within Horrex and the startups but also to produce new innovative products. For example, in recent years we have expanded our portfolio to include windows, skylights and even refrigerators. Our goal is to position ourselves as a total supplier.

A sales talent who, together with the Account Manager and Sales Director, can serve our customers excellently, but can also help bind new customers to us.

  • have completed a commercial MBO, HBO or university education.


What are you going to do

  • In collaboration with the Account Manager, you ensure periodic and systematic contact with customers for the highest possible quality input for the sales forecast. You then process this in the systems.

  • In collaboration with the Account Manager, you are in contact with the customer to make a proper analysis of claims, determine corrective actions as well as process and record the claims in the systems.

  • In collaboration with the Account Manager, you will make quotations and then monitor progress and follow-up.

  • You will provide input for the various commercial reports. Subsequently, analyzing the sales reports (quality, customers, product groups, regions, etc.) and initiating the appropriate actions together with the Account Manager.

  • You will make quotes for the sales agent in America as well as manage them.

  • You process incoming sales orders in the ERP system.

  • You manage the manuals/datasheets and other product information sources.

  • You manage the incoming mail and telephone.

  • You research potential new markets, opportunities and try to attract new customers.

  • You analyze the market and report where necessary to management or the Account Manager.
